I'm ending my fifth week of HARVEST school and it just keeps getting better and better! Its so beautiful here. I'm surrounded by coconut treesm, bananna trees and all sort of tropical flowers :) Not to mention the beach that is right across the road AND it's beautiful. It has the most beautiful blue water I've ever seen. I still think the Oregon coast is THE most beautiful coastline in the world, but this is pretty close.
The last couple of weeks our water has stopped running. So some days we get to shower and flush our toilets and then some days we don't. I can't remember the last time I showered if that helps you understand the situation :) I've never been so thankful that I grew up with a toilet that flushes in my life....let alone have one. AND thank God for wet wipes! When you can't shower they come in handy :) I'm suprised at how clean I actually am. I just found out this morning though that we should have some water by this afternoon and then I can SHOWER. Good news though....the weather here makes my hair look so good! HAHA!
I wish all of you could experience this with me. Well honestly you can because thankfully our Father doesn't limit His presence to just Mozambique, but I can't deny that this is a special place. I thank God I'm here. I learned the school turned down 600 people for this term and normally the school here has 100-150 people, but mine has 270+ people! I REALLY thank God I'm here. He is so good! I don't know where to begin to tell you what God has been doing in my own heart other than He really is removing everything of me and downloading more of Himself. Its been my prayer that I would look and act and be just like Him and He is taking me through that process. Its been wonderful! There is nothing the compares to the presence and touch of the Holy Spirit and I don't want to live, in fact I can't live and have breath, without Him.
Thank you all for your prayers! There working ;) HAHA! God is really showing me direction and I've never been so excited and peacefully in my life. I will be coming home for a little while (a month, maybe two) and then I believe I'll be back in Africa after that. I still have a few things to work out before its set in stone though. Pray that the voice of God is made ever so clear that no one can deny what He is saying. Love you guys!!!!!!
Please grab my family and pray for them and hug them for me!
